Daikin America, Inc.’s Manufacturing and R&D location in Decatur, Alabama, once again participated in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Thanks to the generosity of Daikin employees and their families, 50 Children’s Angels were adopted for Christmas this year. Daikin Employees “adopt” a child in need by buying clothes, shoes, toys, and more and gift wrapping them for the Salvation Army officials to deliver to the child’s home by Christmas Eve. Typically, Daikin Employees spend $100 to $200 per child, making sure the child has some new clothes, a warm coat, and some toys to open on Christmas morning. 2020 marked Daikin’s 25th year of participation in this wonderful program.
