The 7.4 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan on November 21 resulted in Tsunami warnings issued for Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures, with waves at Sendai port recorded at 1.4m high. The warnings were downgraded and then cancelled within four hours.
Daikin reports no impact to its facilities or product supply at this time and will continue to monitor the impact of the events in Japan.
