DAI representatives Kerri Bracken, Allie Johnson and Michael Saint recently participated in the Endless Opportunities Career Fair for area 8th grade students, sponsored by the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce at Ingalls Harbor Pavilion in Decatur, AL.
The career fair hosted approximately 2500 students from middle schools around the immediate Decatur, Morgan County and Limestone County areas.
During the career fair, students visited the Daikin America table, where we answered their questions about what Daikin America does, the applications that our products go into, and the career paths and opportunities with Daikin America that the students can pursue as they move into high school and begin exploring educational programs to prepare them for the workforce, such as those offered by the Career Academy of Decatur and the EPIC/PCT Program at Calhoun Community College.
Having the opportunity to foster and encourage student interest in job opportunities in the chemical industry with Daikin America in an interactive setting was extremely rewarding, and the Daikin Team was enthusiastic and honored to participate in this year’s event.
